ABSTRACT
In autofiction as in dreams, the self expresses its intimate truth by reorganizing and transmuting fragments of memories. This article examines the psychological and stylistic processes at work in this transformation through the study of the dreams related in Serge Doubrovsky’s Fils, first autofiction of the name.
