Auto/Fiction invites scholarly papers related to all aspects of autobiography, fiction and autofiction.
Submission guidelines:
Essays should be between 3,000 and 12,000 words in length, including end notes and the references.
All essays should follow the format of the MLA style sheet. (8th Ed.)
Authors should also include a hundred-word abstract and keywords with their submissions.
In order to ensure a blind peer review, authors should remove any identifying information to help the blind reading process.
Include your short bio, contact details and your affiliation in a cover letter.
Cover letters may be addressed to the editors of Auto/Fiction
It is the author’s responsibility to secure any necessary copyright permissions.
Please note that while we do make every effort to respond to submitters in a timely manner, the peer-review process can take between six and eight months. While we do read submissions year round, submissions received over the summer recess may take longer to process.
